The 21st Lancefield International Symposium on Streptococci and Streptococcal Diseases (LISSSD) will be hosted in Stockholm, Sweden from the 7-10 June 2022. For the first time, LISSSD will be jointly organised with the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. The meeting will offer a cutting-edge multidisciplinary programme to showcase the most recent developments in the field of streptococci and streptococcal diseases. The latest advances in pathogenesis, epidemiology, novel diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccine developments related to acute streptococcal infections as well as post-streptococcal sequelae will be covered.
